Ken Schwartz is a Revit Modeler/CAD Drafter and a relative newcomer to MADI who brings with him a wealth of design and building experience. Early on his interest in the art of building emerged as a focal point starting with a guitar building internship with a master instrument maker in New York. Later he became interested in carpentry and house building eventually becoming a journeyman carpenter and then a licensed building contractor. From this hands-on background he ventured into the design world returning to school to study design and drafting technology in California and established himself as a designer-builder of custom residential projects.
After laying down the tool belt to focus on design full time he has applied his design, drafting, and 3D modeling skills to a variety of disciplines including architecture, manufacturing, and electrical. Prior to coming to MADI he spent 3 ½ years with a national electrical design-build contractor working on large scale projects including the new 20-gate Boarding Area B at San Francisco International Airport and data center and commercial projects for prominent companies including Google, Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Linkedin, and Nvidia.
Returning to his architectural roots with MADI Group, he brings a genuine enthusiasm for design and the building process, a dedication to quality, and a team-oriented approach.
Ken lives among the redwoods and has a great appreciation for the beauty of the Northern California coastal mountains and seashore enjoying an outdoor-oriented lifestyle that includes hiking, biking, and day trips to the many beautiful state parks and beaches that abound in the Santa Cruz area. He is also an avid music appreciator and musician who enjoys getting together with friends to play music and celebrate community.
