Armijo High School Administration
Project Insight: Fairfield, California
The 11,500 square feet new administration building at Armijo High School was designed to match the recently built library building as second stage of the master plan. The building is partially powered by crystalline photovoltaic panels and uses natural light through clerestory and tubular skylights in the ceiling.
The program included the integration of the following functions: attendance, administration, conference, teacher’s lounge and workroom, discipline, health, counseling, and a career room. MADI worked with the district to develop a broad project program for the campus and master planned the campus.
Armijo High School has now developed several buildings designed by MADI, are working on completing more projects included on the original master plan.
